Tamari is a high-quality protein seasoning. Real good tamari is very clear red colour and thickness is like shoyu but strong in flavour.
It can be enjoyed in soups, salads, casseroles, with grains and vegetables, and as a condiment.
Use half or one third the normal amount of commercial sauce or as a substitute for salt for better natural flavour and reduced salt intake.
